CLU Transitions is introducing a new soft skills training opportunity for the community, called “Empowerment through Soft Skills” or abbreviated as ESS, for anyone wishing to build their personal confidence, especially related to all sectors of employment.   

While Brainstorm Academy already instills three years of essential soft skills training, the curriculum’s primary focus is for the animation industry.  Twice weekly the soft skills team conducts refresher training and other engaging activities that enable clients to interact with each other on a social, coworker level. 

The new ESS program fills a gap by providing a comprehensive, person-centered soft skills support program designed to empower clients of Harbor Regional Center aged 18 and above in their journey towards gainful employment.  

ESS will be a three-month course, structured as an accelerated, condensed version of Brainstorm Academy’s three-year curriculum.  While the three-year curriculum revolves around the animation industry, a valuable skill building platform for aspiring digital artists, the new ESS series focuses solely on employment-based soft skills that translate to any career path or job market.
