Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Soft Skills Instructor based in Torrance, CA. The Soft Skills Instructor will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons focused on enhancing interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities. Responsibilities include developing curricula to address various soft skills competencies, working closely with students to assess their progress, facilitating group activities, and providing individualized coaching and feedback. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with parents, educators, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning experience.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills

• Experience in teaching, coaching, or mentoring diverse learners

• Ability to develop and implement innovative lesson plans and group activities

• Familiarity with neurodivergent learning needs and individualized support strategies

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Communications, or a related field

• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a diverse student population

Pay Range

$23 - $25 an hour
