The Studio

Brainstorm Productions Studio bridges the gap between skill development and professional experience. In a working studio environment, employees put their Academy training into practice while continuing to grow as artists, collaborators, and professionals.

The Studio provides opportunities to take on real responsibilities, navigate workplace expectations, and contribute to meaningful creative projects. With continued training and support, employees can build confidence, strengthen independence, and explore career paths that align with their individual talents and goals.

Studio Work

During daily Studio Work Hours, employees complete a wide breadth of both collaborative and individual projects, such as:

 

  • Original Animated Short Films

  • Children's Book Illustration

  • Social Media Content

  • Animated Music Videos

  • Studio Merchandise

  • Logo Design

    and more!

Studio Training

Outside of Studio Work Hours, clients also participate in Studio Training, where they receive additional instruction in both Technical and Soft Skills. Instruction takes place both in-person and via Zoom.

 

For Technical Training, clients choose an industry-relevant track to focus on:

 

  • Art Fundamentals (transferable Technical Skills for any career path)

  • Freelance/Industry (contract employment)

  • Microenterprise (self-employment and small business art careers)

 

Soft Skills Training reinforces understanding of content from Technical Training through group discussion and collaborative assignments. They also include:

 

  • Independent Life Skill Trainings (such as tax filing or jury duty)

  • Industry-Related Research & Presentations 

  • Guest Speakers
