The 47th Annual Awards Ceremony took place in Torrance on October 18, 2025. Representatives from Brainstorm were in attendance. We are deeply honored and humbled to have our work acknowledged and wish to thank the Torrance Cultural Arts Center for the recognition and celebration.
2025 Excellence in Arts Award
Brainstorm Productions has been nominated by the Torrance Cultural Arts Commission.
After visiting Brainstorm Productions Studio, Monica Harte, Torrance Cultural Arts Manager, extended an invitation for Sylvia Owens, Brainstorm Productions' Outreach Coordinator to present Brainstorm's program to the Torrance Cultural Arts Commission.
The presentation was warmly received and commissioners expressed great excitement and appreciation as Sylvia shared the many facets of Brainstorm Productions. She had the pleasure of answering questions, showcasing Brainstorm Productions' published works, and highlighting Brainstorm's very first illustrated book, The Secret Life of Sheba. Each commissioner was presented with an autographed copy.
Less than a week later, Sylvia received a letter informing her that Brainstorm Productions had been nominated for a 2025 Excellence in Arts Award.
The 47th Annual Awards Ceremony takes place on October 18, 2025 in Torrance. Sylvia is both honored and humbled to represent Brainstorm Productions, and will be in attendance to accept the recognition on behalf of the Studio.
